Magic Forest Productions specializes in creative content and design for documentary films, advertising films, television promos and movie trailers, audio video showreels, music videos, titling for feature film, etc. Its services also include graphic design, motion design, sound design, corporate identity design and branding, video editing, photography, videography, sub-titling, dubbing, etc.

It was set up by award winning visual artist Melroy D'silva in January 2010, with an aim to produce content that is fresh, creatively challenging and adheres to international quality standards.

Melroy's past professional experience includes

Promo Producer for television channels such as Sony Pix, Multi Screen Media Pvt. Ltd.; Nick India, Viacom India Pvt. Ltd and B4U music. In a television career spanning 5 years across 3 channels (each of different genres namely movies, music & children's entertainment), Melroy has won 12 prestigious awards worldwide and was nominated (finalist) 10 times for his creative spots. He is also the first in-house producer to win worldwide awards for channels Sony Pix and Nick India. In 2007, Viacom 18 Pvt. Ltd awarded him the Platinum Award for Excellence in Achievement.

While in college, Melroy won various awards in cartooning and graffiti design. His cartoons and illustrations have appeared in Goan publications such as Herald, Gomantak times and Goa Messenger.

His short film "Friend Fetcha" was part of his post graduation course at Dept. of Communication Studies, University of Pune. The film included a 3 minute animated sequence and won the applause of many, including distinguished professors of the university such Dr. E.V.Chitnis (founder member scientist ISRO) and Prof. Samar Nakhate (Ex. Dean FTII, Pune). His film is a topic of discussion for the students of the mass communication department till today.
